• Has less than 1 to 2 years of consistent cycling experience'
• Has not ridden more than 3 days per week on a regular basis
• Has 4 to 5 days per week to commit to riding.
• Is recovering from an injury or a long period away from athletics.
• Is over the age of 50 or under the age of 14.
• Is mostly interested in cycling for fun, weight loss, fitness or entry level racing.
• Has kids, an extremely stressful, exhausting job and doesn’t get much sleep.
• Has permission from a doctor to participate in demanding exercise.
The intermediate category suits anyone who…
• Has at least 1 to 4 years of consistent riding experience or a very strong background in endurance sports.
• Has 5 to 6 days per week to commit to riding.
• Has raced or participated in some challenging group rides.
• Is at least 14 years old but under the age of 50.
• Wants to reach a high level of cycling fitness either for racing or for hammering the local group rides.
• Has a lifestyle that is conducive to making a solid commitment to training
• Has permission from a doctor to participate in a challenging exercise program.
An advanced rider is anyone who…
• Has more than 4 years of consistent riding experience.
• Has 6 days per week to commit to training.
• Is an experienced racer or has participated in many challenging group rides.
• Is between the ages of 18 and 45.
• Wants to achieve an extreme level of cycling fitness.
• Has a lifestyle that is conducive to making a very serious commitment to training.
• Is in excellent health and has permission to participate in a rigorous exercise program
