In 2005, I woke up in the emergency room after a particularly bad crash at a major international bike race. Although to this day, I don't remember the accident, my confidence was shattered. I was afraid to get back on the bike.
Through a bit of research, I found Dr. Rick Collingwood. Rick and I created The Ultimate Sports Series. Since it's creation we have helped athletes to over 40 National and World Championship titles including three wins at the Tour of California. If these CDs can help some of the best athletes in the world, imagine what they can do for you!

Rick is perhaps the world's leading professional clinical hypnotist. The effectiveness of his hypnosis and sub-conscious counseling skills are unequalled. He has developde many hypnosis methods and hybrids.
He developed his own unique hypnosis skills from a combination of traditional hypnosis and his vast knowledge of the direct and rapid hypnosis methods used by the real hypnotists of the past. Adapting those techniques to blend into a powerful new therapeutic model, Rick is acknowledged as one of the world’s most skilled professional hypnotists and hypnosis trainers. He is the principle of The Australian Academy of Hypnosis and has trained more than 1,000 therapists.
Rick’s Weight Loss CD became the only hypnosis CD ever in the world to win a Gold Aria Award and in August 2008 it went platinum as did his incredibly successful Quit Smoking Now CD, whilst the Mind-Body Healing, Stress Management, Happiness & Self Esteem, and Beat Insomnia CDs all went gold. A truly remarkable feat that makes Rick one of the top hypnotists in the world today.
In 2005, in conjunction with a Pharmacist colleague, Mr. Nathan Elliott, Rick conducted Australia's first monitored clinical study to evaluate improvements in the quality of life, using hypnosis as an adjunct to conventional medical treatments. The participants of the trial were nine, medical doctor referred and monitored, volunteers suffering various types of cancers at various stages of progression. Both the Clinical and the experiential results were very positive and ethics approval is being sought to conduct a much larger study.
Starting off with mainly time trials, she switched focus to road racing and was offered a place on the Great Britain National Team. In 2001 Rachel put on hold her job as a project engineer and became a full time cyclist, competing initially for the GB National team before turning professional with the Dutch Farm Frites team.
After spending 5 years competing in Europe, in 2006 Rachel made the move to the USA and is now in her 3rd season racing full time in the USA. She has competed in all the major NRC races, notching up several wins along the way. She has also represented Great Britain and England at 7 World Championships, 2 Commonwealth Games and the 2004 Athens Olympics. She is a multi-time national medalist at road, time trial, track and cyclocross.
Whilst racing full time, Rachel obtained qualifications in BC level 2 Cycling Coaching, Nutrition and weight management, gym instruction and personal training.
Throughout her career Rachel has been coached by some of the Worlds top coaches and has learnt from their extensive knowledge. Added to her own racing career, this gives Rachel a well rounded toolbox combining the science behind coaching with the personal experience of putting it into practice. She believes that coaches who have enjoyed and endured will give you a better insight into what it takes to be good bike racer. She can give you first hand experience of building a base through the depths of winter, taking your first steps in local races or peaking for National Championships.
